Material Data Files
The Customer Service Centre been in touch with many of our customers who may well be your supplier as well as a user of the AppliCad products. We have asked if they are happy to share with you, their material data files so that you do not have to create them again or, as is usually the case, from scratch.
Below is a list of companies and the link to their data files. You can use the information in two ways - the file can be the start of your material lists or you can cut and paste into your existing data files. This is achieved by opening the data files in Microsoft Excel and clipping the data from one file to the other. When you're doing this, you must be aware that it can mess up, so ensure that you have a back-up of your existing files BEFORE you start changing or adding to the existing file. You should be reasonably competent in the use of Excel before you consider doing this.
AppliCad supplies these files for your use and makes no representation as to their accuracy or efficacy. Products, prices and specifications change frequently and are beyond our control. Please ensure that each and every line item in each file is checked BEFORE you use the data for pricing commercial work. They are provided to help you use your own supplier's information and to give you a head start setting up your data files. They are a rich resource, but must be checked carefully before use.
