AppliCad invented the RXF file (Roof Exchange Format) to transfer roof 3D model data between different systems involved in the roofing and cladding business – such as truss and frame fabricators, other AppliCad Roof Wizard operators and customers.

The RXF has also been adopted by EagleView® (the aerial image measuring company) as a method of exporting their model geometry to AppliCad. When you next order your EagleView report, order the RXF as well. You save it to your working folder and then import it directly to Roof Wizard.
